Semolina (Rawa, Suji) Cake
It is very delicious healthy eggless cake which can make your desert time great.
Preparation time: 2 hours
Baking time: 15 minutes
- Semolina (Rawa, Suji) – 1 Cup
- Curd (Yogurt) – 1 Cup
- Milk – 1 Cup
- Sugar – 1 Cup
- Ghee – 2 tbsp
- Baking Powder – 1 tbsp
- Cinnamon (Dalchini) Powder – 1 tbsp
- Dry Fruits crushed – 2 tbsp
Mix semolina, cinnamon powder and baking powder in a bowl. Melt ghee and let it cool. Add powdered sugar to the ghee. Add curd to this mixture and stir it well. Meanwhile mix milk and semolina and add mixture of curd, sugar and ghee to it. Leave the mix for 2 hours. Afterwards add dry fruits.
Pre heat the oven at 180 ºC. Grease the baking dish with oil before pouring the mixture. Bake for 10-15 minutes. When the sides of the cake turns golden, switch off the oven.
Serve it hot with a spoon full of hung yogurt.
