It is an instant cake o serve as a tea-time snack.

- Eggs – 2
- Refined wheat flour (maida) – 1 cup
- Butter – 100 g
- Baking powder – 1 tbsp
- Sugar – ¾ cup
- Vanilla essence – few drops
Mix refined wheat flour and baking powder in a bowl. Keep the butter outside the refrigerator for at least half an hour. When the butter starts melting, mix it with powdered sugar. Blend eggs properly. Add the butter and sugar mix to it. Blend it well. Slowly add the wet mixture into the dry mixture. Add vanilla essence and blend well.
Prepare a cake tin by greasing it with butter and dusting with flour. Pour the batter into it and allow the cake to bake in a preheated oven at 180 ºC for 30-35 minutes. Put off the oven and allow the cake to cool. Cut into pieces and serve.
